2019-20

  • NACC gave 2.92 grade to our college through which UTS Mahila Arts College become the college who got highest score in state.
  • UTS conducted counselling for 12th passed students around 729 girl students from Nadiad and 161 villages nearby.
  • Students took admission in BA & MA course.
  • We conducted “Placement Fair” through the placement cell. In this fair 266 girl students take part in it and 229 girl students got placed on selected for placement.
  • More than 35 Expert lectures are addressed to the students from different subject departments. (Sociology / Economics / Gujarati)
  • Prof. Jagruti DesaiMa’am got PhD degree this year.
  • 21 Staff members participated in seminar.
  • Miss Kajal Shahe ranked in top 50 in Gujarat University. She belong to Economics department.
  • 5 girl students second the position in “National level Kabaddi Championship” in Delhi.
  • Through the “International Spic Macey” programmer the international scrod player. Pandit Shree ParthSarthi& his team has organized a tremendous musical programmer.
  • Under the “International Spic Macey” programmer the famous Sufi Kathak dancer Rani Kanam has performed her kathakart from in college.
  • According to NAAC instruction we started music classes in college.
  • One of handicapped student named “Miss Asthana banu” of our college took part in “Gujarat Youth Festival” conducted by Gujarat University in south section 2. She got 1st rank in singing competition.
  • We opened OPD for weekly treatment of student.
  • In Essay whiting competition conducted by Mahudhacollege a student named SodhaPriya from Gujarat department got 1st rank in this competition.

2018-19

  •   In Encouragement for women empowerment organized women job fair
  •   Arranged GK competition under IQAC & Placement Cell.
  •  Fifteen day women empowerment celebration.
  •   Drop Out rate reduced and more villages are added into educational survey.
  •  Each Department has prepared a list of Slow, Medium and Fast Learner students, to strengthen teaching learning process of students
  •  Organized International Music programme[SPIC MACAY] in college by flute player Ronu Majmudar and Sarangi Vadak Shree Murad Ali & Mithileshdas
  •    Organise certificate course Gujarat Government [knowledge consortium of Gujarat scheme]Finishing School [ Life skill, Employability skill, Functional English Skill and Spoken
  •  Gujarati department organized a state level seminar for students on 2-2-19. 400 students participated and 20 lecturers from different colleges gave lecture to students on different topics.
  • Interdisciplinary lecture were taken by college , Journalism and interior Designing lecturers like:

2017-18

  •    Dharmsinh Desai University.Faculty of Dental Science and UTS Mahila Arts college, Nadiad free medical camp for students 2o doctors team came for camp.300student benefited free medical check up.
  •     Skill development courses (RUDSETI) beauty parlour and Telly computer 34 students participated in 1 month course.
  •     Organized Dance and Music prodramme in college by International kaththak dancer Rani Khanam and sarod wadak Pandit Parth Sarthi.
  •     Government National Mental Health Program 1 day seminar held in college.
  •     Encouragement for women empowerment organized women job fair 400 participated 227 selected.
  •    Plantation of 100 plants like Gulmahor, Parijat, Karan, Jasmine & Tulsi in College Campus. 50 students took part in this activity.
  •    Water harvesting is practiced in the college.
  •    200 Neem, 100 Nilgiri tree saplings were planted at the College Campus.

2016-17

  •     We had 2 days Student Exchange Program named “JALSO” with T.J. Patel College.
  •     Three years Bachelor of Mass Communication and Journalism program has started, which is affiliated to Sardar Patel University.
  •     Four Years Bachelor of Interior Design program has started, which is affiliated to Sardar Patel University.
  •     17 Faculties visited 178 villages and contacted 535 students for admission.
  •     One blind student of college, Ku. Astanabanu took part in Youth Festival at State level and won first prize in Taluka and District level in Light Vocal.
  •    Result of MA Sem-1 is more than as compared to Sardar Patel University.
  •    Pinakini Zala Student of MA Sem-2, scored in university top 50.
  •    9 job fairs arranged in college, in which 2351 students participated and 1414 got placed.
  •    5 Faculties participated & presented paper in International Seminar.

  •   1. ZHALA PINAAKY RECEIVED “narsinhraoBolanaathDivetia” scholarship in M.A Semester 1.
  • Dr. B.T.Dodiya participated national seminar on “New Higher Education Policy: Challenge and Prospects” at Ambaji, Gujarat, organized by All India Federation of University and College in Ambaji, Gujarat on December 18th to December 20th 2020.
  • Students of Economics from B.A Semester 6 Ms. MalekYasminbanu has topped preparing essay on “Socio Economic Imbalances in India”.
  • Shah Kajal&RajpurohitAnamika participated in spellbug competition at Ahmedabad.
  • Two students presented papers in English at a seminar, petlad college.
  • College have achieved in first rank and third rank in Wrestling in District Level competition on Khel Mahakumbh at Nadiad.
  • Five Female students have participated in “Wall Painting Competition” organized by DDMM Heart institute nadiad.

2014-15

  •  1. There was a NAAC visit in which "B" grade was obtained with a score of 2.92.
  • Pinaki Zalaa student of BA Sem-6got 5gold medals.
  • 52 sisters embarked on an educational tour of Abu Polo.
  • 754 students of B.A and M.A got admission.
  • 08recruitment fairs were held with the cooperation of the employment department of the state government. 2674students participated in it. In that year, 1402brothers and sisters were employed.
  • Pro. Jagrutiben Desai had been registered for P.HD
  • College teaching staff participated in 13 seminars.
  • Arranged face-to-face visits in 161 villages in and around Nadiad to encourage 729 sisters who have passed Std. 12 for higher education.
  • 24.78 % of the students got higher results than the university results.
  • Purchase of equipment worth Rs.1,00,000/- UGC made from above.
  • In judo, 7 students participated and won the championship.
  • Kheda District Forest Festival was celebrated in the college campus under the auspices of NSS.

  •      Two faculty members of college became the Ph.D. Guide in 5 universities.

  •      Educational survey of 1200 girls students of 78 villages  took place who passed std.12 exam.
